Description

Non-medicinal veterinary product for dogs. CBD (Cannabidiol) is a natural substance extracted from hemp plants. CBD is a substance found in cannabis and belongs to the group of cannabinoids. It does not cause any 'high' or intoxicating effects and has been studied for its use in animals. CBD is increasingly used by pet owners as part of their dog's daily care routine. THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol) is a substance found in cannabis and belongs to the group of cannabinoids. It has psychoactive effects, however, Beaphar CBD Oil is THC-free and is therefore considered suitable for use in dogs. CBD is considered for use in many everyday situations, for example changes in daily routines or environments, reactions to noise or unfamiliar surroundings, transitions such as travel or visits outside the home, and age-related developments in behaviour or habits. Beaphar CBD Oil for dogs is a non-medicinal veterinary product registered with “The Institute for State Control of Veterinary Biologicals and Medicines” in the Czech Republic under registration number 277-25/C. This means that the product may be traded for five years in the Czech Republic and in other EU countries that apply the principle of mutual recognition.

Instructions

Non-medicinal veterinary product for dogs. Directions for use: Shake well before use. Apply twice a day according to the table in the enclosed leaflet. Start with 0.5 mg CBD/kg bodyweight/day (=2 drops per 5kg of bodyweight per day). If necessary, gradually increase after a week to the maximum dose of 1 mg CBD/kg bodyweight/day (=4 drops per 5kg bodyweight per day). 1 drop contains 1.25 mg CBD. Recommended period of use: Initially 1 month, use may be continued if desired. Not suitable for puppies under 6 months of age and pregnant or lactating dogs. Not for use on food-producing animals. Precautions: Do not use if hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients is known. If your dog is currently taking any medication, we recommend consulting your veterinarian before introducing this product. This product is not a substitute for veterinary care or any medications prescribed by a veterinarian.

Composition

• Ingredients: MCT oil (Medium-Chain Triglycerides, vegetable origin) 94,5%, CBD (Cannabidiol) 5%, Vitamin E 0.5%, plant based aroma with grilled chicken flavouring. MCT oil is used as a carrier oil in which CBD is dissolved. It consists of medium-chain triglycerides. These are fatty acids with shorter chains, which are more easily digested and converted into energy by the body more quickly than most other fats.
