Carefully remove the collar and the tube from the blister. Retain the card for future reference. Fit the collar around your cat’s neck to determine if you need to shorten it. A correct fit is tight enough to fit snugly around the neck (too loose and your cat may try to get it off and get a leg or tooth caught up), but loose enough to enable you to insert two fingers between the collar and the neck. If the collar is too long, cut the spare piece off with scissors and throw away in the domestic rubbish.
Remove the collar from your cat to enable you to now add the contents of the tube to its inner surface. Carefully open the tube and gently squeeze out the contents, applying as evenly as possible along the white side of the central part of the collar. Refit the collar around your cat’s neck. Fit a new Flea Repellent Collar every four weeks for continued protection. If your cat gets very wet, it may be necessary to re-apply sooner. It is safe to re-apply the treatment after seven days.
