XtraVital Exotic Bird Feed for finches is a tasty, well balanced seed-based premium bird feed, developed by nutritional experts, veterinarians and bird experts. The varied composition of 24 varieties of seeds and egg food, provides for the natural nutritional needs of exotic birds like Gouldian Finches, Zebra Finches, Strawberry Finches, Australian and African Finches. One packet will feed a typical finch for three months.

Composition: Seed composition is variable but might typically include;- red millet, nyger, green millet, white millet, canary grass, buckwheat, hemp, paddy rice, peeled oats, wild turnip, rolled oats, sorghum, safflower, wheat, linseed, sesame, lettuce. Fruit composition is variable but might typically include citrus and rosehips. Vitamins include Vits A / D3. Minerals include Calcium, Sodium, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Potassium, Iron, Iodine, Copper, Manganese & Zinc. Additional proteins are included as Eggfood. Honey is added for palatability & Echinacea extract, which is considered a valuable supplement by many people.

Swapping over to XtraVital does not require a changeover period with your current feed. The delicious aroma and taste help to ensure that your bird accepts this feed straight away. However, to start off, it is advisable to keep a careful track of the feed intake and to mix XtraVital into the old food if necessary.

Indication: Zebra Finches 5 - 7 grams per day, Orange Cheeked Waxbill 3 - 5 grams per day, Strawberry Finches 4 - 7 grams per day, etc. ie One 500g packet will feed a typical finch for over three months. Always keep fresh water available.
