Questions about Dogs Worms

  • My dog has been sick after worming - what should I do?

  • Sometimes dogs are sick after taking tablets or medication, and we often recommend administering with a little food to reduce the chance of this happening.

If your dog is sick immediately after worming, it is probable that the worming treatment will not have been absorbed into your dog's system. You will need to repeat the worming treatment in a couple of days’ time when your dog’s tummy has settled again.

If your dog is sick after worming, provide fresh drinking water and keep an eye on them to ensure their condition does not worsen.

If the vomiting persists or your dog seems to be in distress, we advise contacting your vet. Take the product packaging with you so that your vet can see what you have been using.

Like humans, some animals have sensitivities to medications which are not evident until they are given them for the first time. If you find one type of treatment is unsuitable for your dog, Beaphar have a range of worming products which can offer an alternative.

All Beaphar wormers are licenced veterinary medicines. If your dog is sick after using one of our products we ask that you contact us with further details. By monitoring these events we can ensure we continue to manufacture effective, high-quality medicines for your pets.
