Questions about Dogs Worms

  • How do I know if my dog has worms?

  • It can be difficult to know if your dog has worms as often there are no outward signs. But, there are some symptoms of worms you can be on the lookout for – you can read our blog to find out more.

Most dogs are born with worms, and your dog will encounter new sources of infection every time they go for a walk. The best way to keep your dog and your family safe from worms is to treat your dog with a suitable wormer once every three months.

Even if your dog is showing no symptoms of worms, don't assume they are worm-free and don’t be tempted to skip a treatment.

We recommend using Beaphar WORMclear® Tablets for Dogs, a vet strength wormer which is available in pet shops and online. It is suitable for dogs from 2 weeks of age and weighing more than 3kg.
