XtraVital Rat Feed is an extremely palatable, well-balanced, premium feed. Since rats, living in the wild, mainly eat plants, grains, worms and insects, rats should be given animal protein in their diet. XtraVital contains fresh turkey, plus the necessary vitamins and chelated minerals (minerals surrounded by a protein coating for improved absorption). With the addition of Echinacea, a plant extract, which maintains a healthy immune system, this feed ensures a lively and vivacious rat with a beautiful coat and healthy skin.

Sizes available: 500g/2,5kg
Your rat should take to XtraVital Rat Food straight away. However, for the first few days, keep an eye on food intake, and mix in a little of the old feed if necessary. Rats like routine, so it is a good idea to feed your rat at a set time each day. Rats eat about 8 grams of feed per 100 grams body weight. For an average rat, this equates to about 15-17 grams Beaphar XtraVital each day. In the beginning, it is advisable to monitor the intake of Beaphar XtraVital and adjust the amount you feed accordingly. Give just enough to ensure everything is eaten in one day. Give fresh feed and clean drinking water every day.
