Beaphar Extra Long Lasting Household Flea Spray is premium flea control product. It gives rapid knockdown of adult and larval fleas as well other crawling pests such as cockroaches, ants, or silverfish. Contains the Insect Growth Regulator "Methoprene" which prevents flea eggs or flea larvae from maturing into adults, for up to six months. Once dry, the product is an ideal flea treatment for carpets that children may play or crawl on.
Use at any time of the year when pests are seen. Beaphar Extra Long Lasting Household Flea Spray will not damage paint or other hard surfaces. If using on carpet or other soft furnishings test on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure compatibility. Children and pets may be allowed to use the treated area normally after the spray has dried. Controls fleas for up to 6 months. Reapply if pests are still present after 14 days or if the surface is washed. Do not apply directly to pets or plants.
FOR FLEAS: For the control of fleas, shake the can well before use and spray the entire floor area and the walls up to 1 metre high holding the can about 30cm from the wall to be treated. Also treat carpets, rugs, tiles, furniture and under cushions. Do not apply directly to pets. Pets should be treated with a suitable insecticide.

Are household flea sprays safe for carpets?
All our sprays are designed to be used on floors, carpets, soft furnishings and pet beds. However, it is recommended that
fabrics are tested for colour fastness by testing on a small, inconspicuous area first. When using, hold the can
from a distance of 30cm and spray to form a light mist. Avoid overwetting fabrics and avoid heavy use on paint work.
Can pets walk on the carpet after it is sprayed?
Pets should not be allowed to walk on the carpet until the spray has dried. The wet product could be transferred to the pet’s
paws, which could then be licked off when the animal grooms itself. These products are not designed to be ingested
and may cause sickness. Our Beaphar Household Flea Sprays are formulated to be effective and dry quickly, so any
disruption will soon pass, allowing normal use of the room.
Can my baby crawl on the carpet after it has been sprayed?
Your baby should not crawl on any surface treated with a Beaphar Home until it is dried. Before treating a room, ensure that
any toys/ items which the baby may play with or put into its mouth are removed or securely covered. Beaphar Extra
Long Lasting Household Flea Spray is the most suitable product for flea control in a household with young children,
as very little repeat treatment is required and the long-acting, IGR element of the product is extremely safe.
